What is Pag-IBIG MP2?
The Modified Pag-IBIG II (MP2) Savings Program is a voluntary savings facility offered by the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) in the Philippines. It is designed for members who want to save more and earn higher dividends than the regular Pag-IBIG savings program.
MP2 is widely considered one of the best low-risk investment options in the Philippines because it is Government-Guaranteed and Tax-Free.

How to Use the MP2 Calculator
- Enter Monthly Contribution: Input the amount you plan to save every month. The minimum is ₱500.
- Set Dividend Rate: The default is set to the most recent rate (7.05%). You can adjust this to create conservative or optimistic scenarios.

- Compounded: Dividends are re-invested, earning you more over time.
- Annual Payout: You receive your dividends yearly via a connected bank account.

Any active Pag-IBIG member (earning at least monthly income) can join. Former members with other sources of monthly income (like pensioners) can also join.
Yes. The Pag-IBIG MP2 savings are government-guaranteed. This means your principal amount (the money you contributed) is 100% safe, regardless of economic conditions.
After the 5-year maturity period, you can withdraw your total savings and dividends. You can also choose to re-invest it for another 5-year term. If unclaimed, it will continue to earn dividends based on regular savings rates for another 2 years.
You can open an account online via the Virtual Pag-IBIG website or visit any Pag-IBIG branch. You will need your Pag-IBIG MID number.
