IRCTC Date Calculator – Plan Your Advance Booking
Indian Railways allows passengers to book train tickets in advance to ensure a confirmed seat. However, keeping track of the booking opening date can be confusing. Our IRCTC Date Calculator solves this by instantly calculating the reservation start date.
Understanding the 60-Day Advance Reservation Period (ARP)
Effective from 1st November 2024, Indian Railways has reduced the Advance Reservation Period (ARP) from 120 days to 60 days (excluding the date of journey). This means booking for a train opens exactly 60 days before the train departs from its originating station.
